Location
Do you want to surf in February and March?
Come with us to explore the most beautiful places and ride the best waves of Morocco! We’ve prepared several dates for you to join. Don’t like long flights but still want to surf in the warmth with a touch of exotic vibes? Just a 4-hour flight, and you’ll be in the surf paradise of the Orient. We’ve designed packages for beginner surfers, intermediates, and experienced riders. You can choose the duration of your stay depending on your availability.
Morocco has long been a crossroads of various cultures, leaving fascinating traces all over the country. Today, it is a blend of African, Arab, Berber, and European influences. Here, you’ll find everything from the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains, arid deserts, sandy beaches, crystal-clear lagoons carved into cliffs, to lush banana and orange plantations.
This time, we’ll head to the western coast of central Morocco, to the fishing village of Taghazoute, located around 30 minutes north of Agadir and about 1 hour from Agadir International Airport. We’ll be surfing on the sandy beaches surrounding Taghazoute. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced surfer, there’s a spot for everyone.
During the day, temperatures remain above 20°C in the shade, and can rise up to 35°C in the sun. At night, the temperature drops to around 10°C, making it the perfect climate for surfing and exploring the area. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, Taghazoute’s waves offer something for everyone, with picturesque surroundings and a welcoming local culture.

For beginners, we’ll provide soft boards (foam boards), and for more experienced surfers, we’ll offer epoxy NSP boards. The beginner lessons will primarily take place at spots like 7th Mile and Banana Beach, both of which feature sandy bottoms, making them perfect for learning and improving your skills.

In the vicinity, there are several small shops, restaurants, and cafes with ocean views, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of surfing.

Transportation
The most convenient connection is now the direct Saturday flight from Vienna to Agadir with Ryanair and Austrian Airlines. The flight takes 3.5 hours, and the price when booked in advance is 100EUR. We will pick you up at the airport, and in just 1 hour, you’ll be at the villa :).
If needed, feel free to contact us, and we’ll assist you with booking and purchasing your flight ticket.
Transport from the airport to the accommodation and back is included in the price of the stay and applies only for a shared arrival in Agadir with a minimum of 5 people!
Please always communicate with us before purchasing your flight tickets for a coordinated journey and joint flight!

TRIPS
In addition to surfing around Taghazoute, we’ll head north to the amazing bay of Imsouane and embark on several excursions. We won’t miss the vibrant market in Agadir and will visit places where Berber women manually produce the legendary argan oil, which is extracted from the seeds of the Argan tree (Argania spinosa), found exclusively in the southwestern part of Morocco. This rare tree can live for 150-200 years and grow up to 10 meters tall. We’ll also head to the beautiful Paradise Valley, where we can refresh ourselves and take a swim in the stunning lagoons, and even leap off the rocks.

FOOD
Breakfast is on your own, and we will stop at a local shop on the way from the airport. For lunch you can prepare a sandwich or visit one of the fishermen’s restaurants on the beach.
The typical and most widespread drink is Moroccan tea or Moroccan whiskey – it is a symbol of hospitality, tradition and culture. Moroccan tea is very intense. Everything is added in large quantities – tea, herbs and sugar. Its preparation and serving is a male prerogative in Morocco. It is a ritual where every step has its own meaning. In the village, all foodstuffs are available as well as local meat, vegetables and fruit of super quality. Avocados, local oranges, mandarins, bananas and more…. What you won’t come across much of here is cheese and salami. Everything is within a 5 minute walk from our house.
Moroccan cuisine is very tasty, thanks in part to the French influences here. The national dish, which is prepared in almost every restaurant, is tajine (tajine), which is always one type of meat (fish, calamari, beef or lamb) and vegetables cooked over hot coals in a round deep plate with an earthenware lid. If you haven’t tasted tajine, you haven’t been to Morocco! And we know where they make the best… Dinner is on your own, or we can go together to one of the many restaurants in Taghazout.

INSURANCE
Each participant should have their own travel insurance. As most of us will be doing a sporting activity on the beach, we recommend taking out additional insurance for risk sports and third party insurance, in case the surfboard breaks, in some destinations you are responsible for the equipment you rent and if it is damaged you will have to pay for the damage on the spot.

FAQ
Can I participate in the surfcamp if I go alone?
Definitely yes, you won’t be the only one, many participants go single and some even go double:) We always connect you all before the trip so you can travel together and there is a common program on site. We’ll put you in a room with other singles or smaller groups, so you really don’t have to worry about going alone.
I’ve never stood on a surfboard before, can I still participate?
All of our surfcamps are designed for complete beginners as well as more advanced surfers. However, the vast majority are complete beginners like you, so don’t worry, you won’t be alone.
Who will I be staying with if I’m not going in a larger group?
We always try to split participants into boys and girls rooms, if you want your own room you will need to pay the difference for the unoccupied bed.
Is the surfcamp program compulsory and do I have to attend everything?
The whole program is optional, so if you feel tired or just want to chill, let us know, throw your feet up in the hammock or take it easy on the beach. You’re on vacation:)
Do I have to pay the full amount when I sign up?
You will pay a deposit of 3900,- CZK / 160 EUR upon confirmation of your booking, and the surfcamp balance three weeks before the tour.
