Fuerteventura, it means the most beautiful beaches with golden-white sand washed by the clear turquoise sea. Yoga
The combination of yoga and surfing is already a tradition for our camps. Also in Fuerteventura, in addition to surfing lessons, we will also focus on overall stretching and relaxation of the muscles of the whole body through regular yoga classes with certified teacher Barbara Hrusova. Lessons can be arranged locally, cost is 10E per lesson, minimum 2 people. “Yoga is modified to stretch the most stressed parts of the body and provide relief from a sport that is new to most participants. Our goal is not to make yogis out of you, but to guide you safely through the asanas that are most appropriate for surfers. During the classes I base the lessons on hatha yoga, the principle of inhalation and exhalation is maintained, and at the end you will have relaxation and aromatherapy.”

Surfing
Surf courses based on the second largest of the Canary Islands are designed for both – beginners and advanced surfers – who want to explore new beaches and wave types, different from the familiar spots on the French Atlantic coast. Both groups will be devoted to Petr and Katka Havlik, who you know from the surf reality show Cool Wave on Prima Cool. They both live and surf the Canaries for over 10 years. The quality of teaching is supported by regular video caching, theory, surfing video projection and, of course, traveling to interesting places on the island. Lessons take place on beginners’ longboard and minimalibu surfboards, on one of the beaches Entubadura, Rocky Point, Playa Blanca or El Cotillo. The choice of the beach always depends on the current conditions. Unlike other spots in Fuerteventura, these beaches offer suitable conditions for the first wave attempts. Advanced riders can try one of the beaches of El Hierro, Punta Blanca or Glass Beach, where the bottom is covered with coral reefs or lava rocks.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in one of the villas in the town of Corralejo, just minutes from the best surf spots on the island of Fuerteventura. This location offers the perfect base for surf lovers and food enthusiasts. After returning from the beach, Corralejo invites you to enjoy fresh seafood restaurants and tapas bars with stunning views of the harbor and the neighboring island of Los Lobos. Once a pirate hideout, Los Lobos is now a nature reserve.
Accommodation for individuals is available year-round in apartment resorts with a pool or a private villa. You can find photos of the accommodation at the end of the gallery.

Due to new airport arrangements in Fuerteventura, we cannot pick you up by car. But do not worry, the way from the airport is quite simple – it is possible to take the bus (about 30 min): – first take the line number 3 to Puerta Rosario here you change to line number 6 and get off at the roundabout Corralejo is 300m from Surfhouse. Bus costs 7 EUR!
A taxi costs approximately 55 EUR, while our private taxi service is available for 40 EUR per trip.
Another option is the shuttle bus, which must be booked in advance.
Thinking about renting a car? We recommend the following trusted companies that have no hidden fees: cicar.com, payless.com, and autoreisen.es. Renting a car is a great option if you want to explore the island at your own pace after your surf lessons. We’re happy to recommend beautiful spots and great restaurants!
Our top choice is Autoreisen.com – a hassle-free experience. At the airport, simply show your reservation, ID, and payment card, and you’re good to go. When returning the car, just drop the keys at the window — no inspections, no stress.

CLIMATE
In the fall, Fuerteventura becomes a paradise for surfers, because then there are the biggest waves. Advanced riders should wear rubber boots in the water to protect them from sharp corals. An essential part of the equipment is a quality sunscreen with a high factor. Bad weather is almost never to worry – the sky is swept up to 2,800 hours a year, making Fuerteventura one of the sunniest places in Europe ever.

FAQ
Can I participate in the surfcamp if I go alone?
Certainly yes, you won’t be the only one, many participants go single and some even go double ? We always connect you all before the trip, so you can travel together and there is a common program in place. We will put you in a room with other individuals or smaller groups, so you really don’t have to be afraid to go out alone.
I have never surfed, can I still participate?
All our surfcamps are designed for complete beginners as well as more advanced surfers. However, the vast majority are complete beginners like you, so don’t worry, you won’t be alone.
Who will I live with if I am not traveling in a larger group?
We always try to divide participants into boys’ and girls’ rooms, if you want your own room, you have to pay the difference for an unoccupied bed.
Is the surfcamp program mandatory and do I have to participate in everything?
The whole program is optional, so if you feel tired or just want to chill, let us know, put your feet up in a hammock or relax on the beach. You have a holiday:)
Do I have to pay the full amount after signing up?
After confirmation of the reservation, you pay a deposit of 160EUR, then the rest of money three weeks before the trip.
